PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk is currently investing in five different business sectors which are Toll Roads, Renewable Energy, Clean Water and Sea Port to improve life for a better and brighter future.

Business Milestone

PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk has grown its business by owning infrastructure concessions through merger and acquisitions. The Company aims to be a catalyst of Indonesian economic growth by developing the available key infrastructure facilities in transportation and utilities.  
 
Over the past 12 years PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk has been actively investing and developing infrastructure and expanding its portfolio into many areas of infrastructure sectors across the nation in Toll Roads, Renewable Energy, Clean Water and Sea Port.
 

 

  • Toll Road Water Port Electricity Tower
    • The Company obtained the award as one of the best 5 (five) infrastructure companies with Good Corporate Governance (GCG) concept from Warta Ekonomi Award.
    • The Company obtained the Infobank Award as one of 100 companies with the fastest growth in Indonesia.
    • In June, PT Tirta Kencana Cahaya Madniri (TKCM), an associate entity of POTUM, signed a Concession Extension Agreement with PDAM Tirta Kerta Rahardja (TKR) Tangerang for a period of 20 years.
    • The Company’s subsidiaries in toll road, namely BMN, JTSE and BSD implemented the National Cashless Movement (GNNT) in the Makassar and BSD toll roads pursuant to the Ministry Regulation on cashless transaction on toll roads.
    • BMN carried out groundbreaking for the construction of the 4.3-km AP. Pettarani toll road.
    • BMN signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Makassar Government to find the solution to traffic congestion issues.
    • DCC and Medan Industrial Area (KIM) signed the Minutes of Agreement on tariff increase on April 21, 2017.
    • In June 2017, SCTK completed the construction to increase capacity from 150 lps to 350 lps.
    • In December 2017, the associated company TKCM improved its capacity by 300 lps to 1,575 lps from 1,275 lps.

  • Toll Road Water Port Electricity Tower
    • The Company has successfully received External Audit Certificates for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18000 for PT Bintaro Serpong Damai (BSD), PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN), and PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE).
    • PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) operates Tallo II Bridge since July 1, 2016 to accommodate traffic density during the homebound traffic and returning traffic during Eid-al-Fitr 1437H festivities.
    • PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) has developed a traffic solution known as Traffic Information System (TIS). TIS is the latest and real-time information platform which provides information to toll road users with regard to traffic flow both in the toll road as well as outside the toll roads.
    • The Company through PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN) and PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) have established collaboration with Pertamina since October 2016 for a 20- year contract period. The agreement is worth Rp77 billions, including the utilization of the right of way managed by PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN) and PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) for pipeline infrastructure to distribute jet fuel from Makassar Fuel Terminal to Airport Fuel Storage Facility in Hasanuddin Airport.
    • Additional 327 telecommunication towers managed by KIN in 2016.
    • TapCash BNI Launching Event in Makassar Toll Road.
    • Finishing phase of frontage road reconstruction.
    • PT Komet Infra Nusantara has prepared and signed Facilities Agreement on October 19, 2016 with Cathay United Bank Co. Ltd., ING Bank N.V., and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited respectively as Mandated Lead Arrangers and Original Lender.
    • The Company received a registration confirmation for the copyright of Nusantara Infrastructure and Nusantara Care from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, which is valid for 50 years as of the announcement.
    • The Company received a certificate or title for the “Nusantara Infrastructure and Nusantara Care” trademark from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, which is valid for 10 years as of the receipt of mark registration, which is renewable.

    Toll Road Water Port Electricity Tower
    • EI increased its ownership in IME, a subsidiary developing PLTA Lau Gunung project, to 54.64%.
    • IME finalized technical design with design optimization from 10 MW to 15 MW, making the Power plant potential efficient in line with the investment value.
    • KIN increased its telecommunications tower portfolio from 591 towers by end of 2014 to 901 towers by end of 2015 towers.
    • SCTK’s Water Treatment Plan (WTP) 2 operation saw an increase in its production capacity (uprating) from 25 liters / second to 50 liters / second.

    Toll Road Water Port Electricity Tower
    • The Company listed in Kompas index 100.
    • Through its subsidiary, PT Telekom Infranusantara, the Company acquired majority shares of PT Tara Cell Intrabuana 70.17%, an independent operator of telecommunications towers in Indonesia.
    • Changed of name from PT Tara Cell into PT Komet Infra Nusantara.
    • The introduction of first phase clean water treatment with capacity of 100 litres/second by a Subsidiary, PT Dain Celicani Cemerlang to PT Kawasan Industri Medan in Medan Industrial Area.
    • Groundbreaking of clean water treatment plant and water distribution by PT Sarana Catur Tirta Kelola in Serang Timur, Banten.
    • JEXWAY and NEXCO joining in as shareholders PT Bintaro Serpong Damai, a subsidiary of the Company, with each holding 2.93% and 1.25% of shares respectively.

    Toll Road Water Port Electricity Tower
    • August 2013, the JLB toll road is connected with the Pantai Indah Kapuk Residential and Business area. This connection is expected to give additional traffic contribution and growth.
    • October 2013, all gates at BMN and JTSE toll road started the implementation of electronic payment in cooperation with one of the biggest Bank in Indonesia.
    • December 2013, PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk entered the telecommunication tower sector and established PT Telekom Infranusantara.
    • PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk is listed at SMinfra18, Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI), Marjin Transaction and/or Short Selling Transaction issued and published by Indonesian Stock Exchange. And also listed at MSCI Indonesia issued and published by MSCI Global.

    • PT Portco Infranusantara (Portco) completed acquisition of PT Intisentosa Alambahtera (ISAB) a strategic seaport in Lampung, South Sumatera.
    • PT Potum Mundi Infranusantara (Potum) acquired PT Tirta Bangun Nusantara (TBN) in Tangerang, West Java.
    • Established PT Energi Infranusantara (EI) which focuses on the renewable energy sector.

    • Established PT Portco Infranusantara, a wholly owned subsidiary which acts as the holding Company, and received a Government License in October 12, 2011 to provide Port Services throughout Indonesia.

    • PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk acquired shares of PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN) which owns 25% of the shares of PT Jakarta Lingkar Baratsatu, a company which operates the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) section W1 (Kebon Jeruk - Penjaringan).
    • PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk raised 750 billion IDR equity through Right Issue.

NUSANTARA INFRASTRUCTURE ENTERS THE TELECOMMUNICATION TOWER BUSINESS

Strengthen the position of the Leading Infrastructure Company

As part of the vision of being a well-known infrastructure company in Indonesia, on 17th 2013 PT Nusantara Infrastructure announced their newest corporation action in acquiring the majority of the stock in PT Tara Cell Intrabuana ("TowerCo") for IDR 598 billion through the subsidiary company, PT Telekom Infranusantara ("TI") to continue to show their commitment to expand their business into the telecommunication tower business and other linked sectors. TowerCo is an independent Indonesian telecommunication tower company that has an operates tower along with ither supporting facilities in Sumatera, Java, and Batam.

The acquisition of TowerCo expands our company's area to several sectors with the incredible potential and prospect of further growth, considering the low cellular penetration in Indonesia (17 percent in 2012) compared to other expanding countries (66 percent for Malaysia and 74 percent for Singapore in the same year). It is estimated that the traffic will exponentially grow to 66 percent between 2012-2017, due to data streaming and the virtual data requirements in cloud through Smartphone or other devices.

THE ACQUISITION OF PT INTISENTOSA ALAMBAHTERA

Nusantara Infrastructure Enters the Sea Port Sector.

2012 became one of Nusantara Infrastructure's golden years. Not only did the Company drastically improve financial performance, they also made significant progress to further expand the portfolio of the Company, as mentioned in the strategy statement from the previous years. It includes the acquisition of a strategic seaport in Lampung by acquiring 39 percent shares in PT Intisentosa Alambahtera.

Located in such a strategic position in the middle of the Sunda Straits, the port that ISAB holds has become an important point on the flow of trade between Europe, India, and Africa. This port is also crucial for the flow of commodities originating from Kalimantan. With a quay length of 300m, and 11,200m2 of storage area/warehousing facilities which can accommodate up to 60,000 MT of dry bulk cargo and 40,000 MT bags, this port is one of the most important for bulks commodities in Indonesia. Besides being equipped with storage tanks for liquid bulk with capacity of 15,000 MT, this port currently serves a diverse industrial clientele dealing with chemicals, commodities and fertilizers.

 

PT POTUM MUNDI INFRANUSANTARA ACQUIRES PT DAIN CELICANI CEMERLANG

PT Potum Mundi Infranusantara also signed an agreement with PT Dain Celicani Cemerlang (DCC) on 25th October, 2012. The agreement converts the loan from Potum to DCC into equity equivalent to 51 percent of its shares. DCC is a company which has a concession to build and also manages an installation in Medan Industrial Estate (KIM), Medan-North Sumatera.

 

PT ENERGI INFRANUSANTARA WILL ACQUIRE 45 PERCENT OF PT INPOLA MEKA ENERGI (IME)

PT Energi Infranusantara (EI), another subsidiary company of NI, executed a Share Subscription Agreement with PT Inpola Meka Energi (IME) on 12th October, 2012, whereby EI take 45 percent of the shares. IME focuses on developing the Mini Hydro Power Plant in Lau Gunung, Tanah Pinem district, Dairi region and North Sumatera province. The installed capacity plans to reach 10 MW PPA obtained as per 28th in supplying energy to Sumatera's customers through their grid.

The power comes from a run off river, turning a 5.56 m3 per second flow rate into approximately 86 million KW per hour in a year. This renewable energy power plant has been registered to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for carbon reduction program, which produced a result in CO2 reduction of 50,000 tons per year. IME has become the Company's martyr into the Clean Energy Sector, adding value and bringing synergy to its existing portfolio. IME will also be tasked with managing risks in the partnership with PT PP (Persero), a state owned enterprise to engage in the construction and investment business.

 

PT POTUM MUNDI INFRANUSANTARA ACQUIRES PT TIRTA BANGUN NUSANTARA

PT Potum Mundi Infranusantara (Potum), Nusantara infrastructure's subsidiary company, executed an acquisition of PT Tirta Bangun Nusantara (TBN) with the purchase of 51 percent shares. This acquisition represents the Company's expansion and commitment into the drinking water supply sector and waste/solid waste treatment operation, aiming to deliver a high quality service drinking water through good corporate governance that relies on excellence, professionalism, competitiveness, social responsibility and caring for the environment.

TBN agreed on a Conditional Slae and Purchase Agreement on 31st Nusantara, which stated that TBN has agreed to acquire a part ownership of PT Tirta Kencana Cahaya Mandiri (TKCM) which operates the Cikokol Water Treatment Plants, supplying high quality water to the people of the Tangerang Regency through the municipal water Company, PDAM Tirta Kerta Raharja. In addition to municipal water companies (PDAM), TBN also offers its services to the industrial sectors, which are industrial estates, residential complexes, and commercial super blocks.
