MUN and Japan: Ready to Support ‘City of Makassar’

Japanese government in collaboration with Margautama Nusantara (MUN) are ready to support the development of “City of Makassar”. The support was delivered during the visit to Dinas Bina Marga (Highways Department) of South Sulawesi, on December 11, 2014.
The presence of representatives from Japan and MUN aimed to find a solution to traffic congestion in Makassar, along with the increase of regional economic growth. The Japanese government was represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Overseas Infrastructure Development section. Participated in the visit: representatives of Nusantara Infrastructure, Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN), the Provincial Department of Public Works, Transport Department of Makassar, City Planning Department of Makassar, BAPPEDA, and also the National Road Implementing Agency.
