In the 2015, Nusantara Infrastructure keep doing some significant asset development. First, Nusantara Infrastructure repairing main road alongside the toll (frontage) that is destructed, Tallo bridge development and also proceeding water treatment development construction at SCTK Serang.

Repairing Damaged Frontage Road Immediately

As time goes by, the poor of drainage system and the overload of passing vehicle have induced the damaged frontage road beside the toll read. Currently, in 2015 the destruction reached 65%. In other word, it has heavily destructed.

The destruction made MUN to maintain (reconstruction) it immediately. 10 accidents and more have been counted to the date. The worst accident occurred in 2012-2014 caused by destructed of frontage road, where more deaths. In 2015, MUN planned to repair the frontage by reconstruction and overlay method for the heavily destructed road (category 1) and also using filling bonding and cutting sealent method for damaged road (category 2 and 3).

Tallo II Bridge:  Seksi IV Makassar Toll Road Traffic Jam Parsing

Right in the section IV toll road, there is a ±200 m bridge on the Tallo river that divides Makassar city and South Sulawesi. Congestion often occurs in the bridge as a result of the traffic density increment. Tallo bridge II developed in 2015 by PT JTSE as the section IV toll road concessionaire to overcome it.

The development of Tallo II bridge predicted shall reduce the traffic jam as the result of Bottle Neck (Road Narrows) and the increment of traffic amount by 2% from the normal traffic of Tallo I bridge and also enable Tallo I bridge no longer used for 2 way traffic and will be divided by Barrier (standard toll road).

The target of project completion is early 2016. The expectation of the project that will be crossed by vehicles from the section I and II toll road (Port and Jl. Pettarani) to Simpang Mandai (Airport and Maros) or known as A capable to reduce the traffic density that occurred at the location.

Progress of WTP SCTK – Serang Project

Business Development Director of Nusantara Infrastructure, Ridwan Irawan reviewing the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) SCTK, Serang – Banten in the beginning of August 2015. The review is to ensure WTP project is on target. Since it was beginning in the early 2014 until now the construction process of the water treatment development in SCTK is ongoing. The target construction process will be done at least in the middle of 2016.

The capacity of WTP 1 owned by SCTK is 100 lps (liter per second) and WTP 2 is 50 lps for all this time. The development is being worked including WTP 3 development which the capacity will be 200 lps and the WTP 1 rehabilitation so that it can operate 100%.

Currently, WTP 1 produces only 25 lps from the 100 lps maximum capacity. Moreover, the capacity enhancement of WTP 2 is 25 lps. The three WTP located adjacent in an area, therefore the total of all WTP owned by SCTK is expected to be able to produce water treatment about 100 lps. By the increment of water treatment expected to increase the Nusantara Infrastructure contribution in water treatment supply in Serang or Banten more widely.
