According to the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and People Housing No. 507 / KPTS / M / 2015 on the Toll Rate Adjustment by November 1, 2015 on 00.00, a number of Indonesian toll rate will be adjusted including Section I and II Makassar toll road which are managed by PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN) and also Serpong-Pondok Aren toll road that managed by PT Bintaro Serpong Damai (BSD), for about 17-20 percent adjusted to each class of vehicle.

The toll rate adjustment already imposed before at the Section IV Makassar which managed by PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat (JTSE) in june 2015.

The adjustment is conducted every two years after the motorway service evaluated by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT). The evaluation encompassing various indicators, including toll road condition, travel speed average, accessibility, safety mobility, and also rescue and relief services unit. It also based on the last rate and be adjusted to the inflation effects with the incurred amount by the Central Bureau Statistic (CBS) in letter No. B.153 / BPS / 6230 / SHK / 9/2015. Changes in tollrates is decided on the basis of Article 48 paragraph (3) of Law No. 38/2004 on Roads and Article 68 paragraph 1 of the Government Regulation No. 15/2005 on toll roads, evaluation and adjustment of toll rates.

The toll rate adjustment is a determined step by BPJT promptly. With this adjustment hoped that can make investment decision on business planned in each BPJT. Besides, to provide the best service, BMN and BSD management always meet the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) and maintain the roads and the facilities. Moreover, the facilities and service improvement that need many investment value.
