On March 24, 2014, several representatives of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (NI), PT Margautama Nusantara (MUN), BMN/JTSE Makassar, and Vembrie Siswosoebrotho (transport researchers from Institute of Technology Bandung /ITB) participated in discussions with the Mayor of Makassar Danny Pomanto, at Hotel Aryaduta Makassar, South Sulawesi. The core agenda of the discussions consists of the introduction (between the NI team with Danny Pomanto), the exposure of Makassar development plan, and the introduction of the business sector outside of toll roads being undertaken by Nusantara Infrastructure.

Vembrie Siswosoebrotho described about the transportion and its distribution networks in Makassar. While Nusantara Infrastructure team explained about the development of toll roads operated by Nusantara Infrastructure in Makassar, including the use of the Traffic Information System method in toll road to reduce congestion on the roads. This project was done by NI in collaboration with Fujitsu as a technology provider of Traffic Information System.
