On 24 July 2019, Nusantara Infrastructure representatives, Management of BMN, Wika Beton, and Nippon Koe Consultant team visited the acting Makassar Mayor office, Mr. Iqbal Suhaeb for an introduction discussion of project progress.
 
In this meeting, Management of BMN and Wika Beton as a constructors present the progress of A.P. Pettarani Elevated Toll Road as a new icon of Makassar City. The elevated toll road project not only as a solution of the traffic congestion, but also to create Makassar City digital tourism concept, to give more value to Makassar City by showing a beautiful urban city plan with an open green area
