Norwegian Ambassador's Visit to Central Sulawesi

Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia, Stig Traavik with PT Energi Infranusantara (EI) and its strategic partners, SN Power and Aboitiz, visits and meetings with the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Drs. H. Longki Djanggola, M.Si. on April 19, 2016, at the Office of the Governor of Central Sulawesi.
 
The Norwegian Ambassador's visit is in support of the Norwegian Government to Lariang hydropower project, which is a joint project between the Indonesia company (EI), the Norwegian company (SN Power), and the Philippines company (Aboitiz). Lariang hydropower project will involve 2 provinces, namely West Sulawesi precisely in North Mamuju regency and Central Sulawesi precisely in Sigi regency.
 
Based on the pre-survey Lariang hydropower projects that have been implemented, there are a few extra of the potential points to electricity generation in addition in North Mamuju. Additional potential point for the power plant found in Sigi regency. At first, electrical potentials found are in North Mamuju where the signing of the MoU between EI, SN Power and Aboitiz implemented.
 
Bilateral relations were fostered by the Norwegian Ambassador with the Government of the Province of Central Sulawesi is expected to expedite the course of Lariang hydropower project and next prospective projects, so as to mutually benefit each other.
