Throughout 2024, NI's total assets grew by 6.7% (YoY) compared to 2023 to IDR 4.6 trillion. The company recorded a net profit of IDR 331 billion, a significant increase of 240.8% YoY, which came from the contribution of the profit of the associated entity. From the toll road sector, MUN contributed IDR 352 billion (consisting of absorbed profit of IDR 152 billion and adjustment of equity changes of IDR 201 billion), the renewable energy sector contributed IDR 15 billion, and the clean water sector of IDR 8 billion.
On a consolidated basis, the Company's EBITDA decreased by 89% YoY to IDR 49 billion. Similarly, consolidated revenue also decreased by 68% YoY to Rp293 billion, in line with the deconsolidation of MUN, which caused revenue from the toll road sector no longer be included in the Company's consolidated revenue. However, outside the toll sector, the Company's revenue grew 3% YoY, indicating a positive direction from the strategy to strengthen non-toll business lines and efficient operational management.
Although no longer reconciled, MUN, which remains in the group structure with NI, also continues to show strong operational performance. MUN recorded Revenue and Operating Sales of IDR 728 billion, an increase of 13% from the previous year of IDR 646 billion, driven by the growth in traffic volume and tariff adjustments on the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road (BSD) and the Makassar Toll Road managed by PT Makassar Airport Network (MAN). MUN's operating profit was recorded at IDR 364 billion, or an increase of 9.3% YoY compared to 2023 of IDR 333 billion in line with the increase in toll revenue. Meanwhile, MUN's profit for the current year was recorded at IDR 377 billion, up around 244% compared to the previous year, influenced by an increase in toll revenue, an increase in the profit of association entities, and a decrease in financial expenses.
Corporate action from the toll road sector, namely the acquisition of a 35% stake in PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), also contributed to the Group's overall growth in 2024. On the other hand, service improvement initiatives such as creative campaign #TolnyaMakassar are also part of driving loyalty and increasing the volume of traffic of toll road users.
Strategy Focus 2025: Toll Business Consolidation and Sustainable Growth
Facing 2025, NI has set a growth strategy to strengthen and expand its contribution to sustainable development. In addition to continuing to drive sales in the clean water supply and renewable energy sectors, for the toll sector, the main focus includes the consolidation of all related company businesses, such as the management of toll assets (direct subsidiaries), asset investment (indirect subsidiaries), businesses and services related to toll roads such as the development of rest areas, as well as the development and construction of toll road projects.
Ramdani Basri, President Director of PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk said, "Global challenges are an unavoidable reality, but we believe in our organization's ability to continue to grow with a collaborative, innovative, and sustainable approach. With the synergy between the business units and the spirit to continue to contribute to the country, we are optimistic about the Company's long-term prospects."
