Makassar Metro Network (MMN) working together with PT Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk (WIKA Beton) as the Main Contractor and Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. in Joint Operations PT Indokoei International and PT Cipta Strada as Supervision Consultants and PT Virama Karya as Independent Quality Control Consultants, are currently entering the final stages of bridge beam  installation. Armed with the WIKA Beton experience in the previous Semanggi project in Jakarta, the use of this method is very effective and can reduce the risk of traffic disruptions that arise during the project work process. The first Elevated Toll Road Project in Makassar is estimated to be completed in 2020.

Although in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the construction of the A.P. Pettarani Elevated Toll Road Project continues to be carried out while still abiding by the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (SMK3) and Covid-19 prevention protocol which is applied in a disciplined and strict manner. A number of Covid-19 prevention and handling procedures have been made and implemented in all WIKA Beton work units since the end of February 2020 and continuously updated along with the evolving of case data in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the President Director of WIKA Beton Hadian Pramudita in his remarks conveyed: "WIKA Beton is working at its best to complete the A.P. Pettarani Elevated Toll Road Project. And guarantees the best value, time and quality while still maintaining a healthy and safe working environment". The Elevated Toll Road is 4.3 km long and built above the A.P. Pettarani national road without any land acquisition. The construction of this project is divided into 74 spans on the Main Line, 9 spans on the Ramp On and 7 spans on the Ramp Off with a total of 3044 box girders involving no less than 1000 workers in construction work on the project and approximately 300 people in the production of box girders in the Factory Concrete Products owned by WIKA Beton located in KIMA 20 Makassar.
